About the Author

  Jayne Schriver

Jayne Schriver was born in a sleepy little cotton mill town, Lagrange, on the Georgia-Alabama border in 1948.  She was the fifth of seven children, raised in a blue collar family, but went on to achieve academic success at Florida State University where she graduated with honors.

     In 1966, she married her husband, Mike Schriver, and started her life as a full time Mom of three, and eventually, grandmother of four.  As of this date, she has been married to Mike for 46 years and considers her family to be her proudest accomplishment.

     Although her first play was written at the age of 12, she never dreamed of publishing any of her work.  Writing was something that she always aspired to do, and was encouraged by several professors to do so, but until now, never felt that she had a story compelling enough to share with others.

     Jayne is currently very active in her church and community in Katy, TX where she and Mike both volunteer for countless projects and activities.  She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an Eastern Star, a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and Beta Gamma Sigma.  She is a member of The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch Church and an active participant in Compassion Katy and Katy Christian Ministries.

     She is currently working on her next novel which is a work of fiction titled “The Jesus Girls” which should be debuting sometime in 2014.
